Make cordless operation part of the bedroom decision
Window covering cords are a serious hazard in homes where young children live or visit. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says the safest option around young children is to choose cordless window coverings. Health Canada’s guidance likewise recommends coverings without long accessible cords and advises keeping cribs, beds, playpens, and climbable furniture away from windows.

Check no-drill compatibility before you order
No-drill does not mean universal. The window still needs enough usable recess depth, a suitable rectangular opening, and clearance around handles, locks, cranks, and inward-moving sashes. Measure where the blind will actually sit, not only from trim to trim.
