Limited Warranty Coverage

ShadeCort provides a 2-Year Limited Warranty to the original purchaser from the date of delivery. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use and proper installation conditions.

If a product is determined to have a manufacturing defect during the warranty period, ShadeCort may, at its discretion:

  • Repair the defective component

  • Provide replacement parts

  • Replace the product with the same or comparable model

All warranty solutions are subject to product evaluation and availability.

What Is Covered

This limited warranty applies to:

  • Manufacturing defects in materials

  • Structural defects under normal intended use

  • Functional issues caused by production-related errors

Warranty coverage applies only to products purchased directly from ShadeCort or authorized sales channels.

What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover damage or issues resulting from:

  • Improper installation or incorrect measurements

  • Misuse, abuse, negligence, or unauthorized modifications

  • Accidental damage, impact, or external force

  • Exposure to excessive heat, moisture, chemicals, or solvents

  • Normal wear and cosmetic aging over time

  • Improper cleaning or maintenance

  • Commercial or non-residential use unless otherwise specified

Minor cosmetic variations that do not affect product functionality are not considered defects.

Shipping & Installation Disclaimer

ShadeCort is not responsible for:

  • Damage caused during third-party shipping or handling

  • Labor costs related to installation, removal, or reinstallation

  • Installation errors caused by incorrect measurements or unsuitable mounting surfaces

Customers are responsible for verifying measurements and installation compatibility before ordering.

Warranty Claim Process

Please include the following information:

  • Order number or proof of purchase

  • Description of the issue

  • Photos or videos clearly showing the problem

Our team will review the claim and provide next-step instructions. In some cases, products or components may need to be inspected before approval.

If the claim is approved, ShadeCort will provide replacement parts or an appropriate replacement solution based on the warranty terms.

Limitation of Liability

This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShadeCort shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product.

This warranty replaces all other express or implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, except where prohibited by law.
